Gas Price Spike

Glad my gas tank only holds 2.5 gallons and that I get 70 mpg.  Still, it will cost us $16.00 to cut the grass tomorrow.  Let it grow,oh no.  We are going to have a better plan next year when gas could be near $7.00 per gallon.

Goats make more of a mess and do not keep the grass cut down.  I can’t see using a manual rotary push mower to cut 1.5 acres.

This guy in Saginaw, Michigan attached a bicycle to a rotary mower.  His growing season is about 70 days up there and grass is hard to grow there.  Here, in the Delta, grass grows in one day the same amount grass grows in Saginaw in a week or more.

Fearing Ike will push price to $5 a gallon, drivers queue up to fill up
