The mega-huge 10th-anniversary Las Vegas High Rollers rally, which is usually held on Presidents’ Day weekend, is in March next year (March 19-23, 2009).

Cold Week of Scooter Commuting
Wednesday it was 28 degrees on my commute in. Today I saw ice where the road was in the shade of the trees. I’m glad I am off to morrow to do some errands and house repair. Saturday I have to work. Next week is Black Friday and Saturday. Long hard days there in the retail world. I’ll be on the front lines instead of in front of my computer. Oh well. Let the silly season begin. sigh.
My 2005 Vespa GT 200L is still in Birmingham. My friend Matt at Magic City Scooters has to send it over to Bogart’s Motorsports so that their Vespa technician can put it on the diagnostic machine. More sigh. I rode Stacy’s Vespa GT yesterday evening to run an errand and I am amazed at how much of a high performance motorcycle the GT really is.
The Zuma 125 is an awesome, fun scooter but the Vespa is a road machine. Yum. I hope to have the green Vespa home safe in it’s stall, soon.
